I had $30,000 in credit card debt spread over about 12 cards. As long as you're honest with them about what you owe, what you can afford and make all of the payments they will help you get out of debt. I kept two small cards out of the settlement and continued to use them and make the payments and my credit score bounced back higher than it ever had been before within a year and a half.
