I'm new to Belmont and wasn't sure how to choose from all of the vets in the area. I attended a dog fair and met some of the staff from New Hope and was pleased with the impression they made with me and my dogs. I called at my first opportunity and made an appointment for both of my fur babies. They excel at customer service, compassion, knowledge, and their ability to make us all feel at ease. I have been fostering a litter of 5 kittens that my neighbor brought to me. They went for a check up right after I got them because one kitten was scratching at his neck and I could see a mark. Dr. Jodi Werfal figured out that a Botfly larvae was in his neck - and removed it! We certainly weren't expecting that! I thought she did a great job - that isn't the first time she has figured out som like that that others didn't! I can't say enough good things about the staff and the doctors at New Hope Vet. They are all so kind and caring and the doctors spend a significant amount of time in the room with us going over all the details. You won't feel rushed when you take your pet here. I love their app that allows me to send messages and schedule appts without having to call during business hours. I hate phone calls so this is a great perk for me! Brought our Vizsla Zoey in to see Dr Rowan since we found 3 small bumps on her, one almost under her armpit. Our rescue Vizsla Keera passed from Lymphoma a few years ago so I was worried about Zoey. Dr Rowan biopsied the 3 bumps and found one was infected so she's on antibiotics for that. The other two were just bumps. We did have them take blood to ck if she had any cancer cells in it and today he called with the good news NO CANCER cells were found. I have been so impressed with this group. This is a beautiful new facility, and the doctors and staff are the best! We took our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks in for yearly physicals when they first opened. Dr. Peter Rowan was so good with our girls, and they both did so well. I feel like the exam was one of the most thorough exams my 7 year old girl ever had. Recently both girls were sick with a viral "kennel cough" and Dr Werfal had us come right it.
