I rented a unit in their N. Hwy 97 location in June 2022. I just received a notice that my monthly rental rate is going up 15%, effective October 2022. I find that to be excessive given the short time period I've been renting there. Will that be repeated in another 4 or 5 months?...I sure hope not. The property manager is great, and the facility is clean and easy to get things in and out of, but I'm not high on the company itself.

These guys are awesome! Polite, efficient and they even contacted me to pro rate my refund after I moved out of the facility. Highly recommended!!!

These guys are great! I just moved out of my unit yesterday. The gentleman who helped me was so professional and friendly. I am a single woman and unfortunately women do not always get treated like human beings when we go to get take care of things like storage units, get our oil changed, or buy a car. I highly recommend these guys. Thanks for a great experience!

When I got laid off a week before Christmas and all the Bend storage units were rented out, NW Self Storage had two units next to each other for rent. We were so relieved. The hours for accessing the units were good and the units were clean and secure. Holly was very easy to work with. We rented both units for a year. I highly recommend Northwest Self Storage.

I called every storage place in Bend and they were all booked! When I called Northwest I thought "Oh no, another voice mail!" However, the nicest, most professional woman, named Kathy, answered the phone and helped me out. She took a walk around the place for me to find me one last spot. Phew! (We had been pulling a trailer from CA and had nowhere to put the contents.) Enjoy your initial rental rate, as it will increase rapidly, and in short order. My 5'x10' outside unit was initially ~$100/mo. The rental rate has increased regularly. I now pay $222/mo for 50 square feet of space ($4.44/sq. ft/month). Google AI says the average 5'x10' self storage unit in Bend runs $125-127/month.

​I rarely leave reviews, but after our recent experience with the manager, Rosa, I feel it is necessary to warn other business owners. My husband operates two local companies, and we currently rent over 10 units at this facility. My mother has been a customer for at least 15 years. When she tries to go to the office to pay her bill there is almost never anyone at the offices, it seems that this company is too money hungry to keep their facilities staffed properly. Not to mention the cost of their units.
