I've worn glasses since I was 6 or 7 years old. I can't even remember the last time I could see clearly with my own eyes. Just had my surgery yesterday. I don't know why I waited so long to have it done....I have been wanting to do it for years. I think finally the inconvenience and hassle of wearing contacts prevailed over the anxiety I had. Well, I had no reason to be anxious! The staff and Dr. Teplick were great. Unbelievable ! Virtually no pain... and now... no glasses ! Had my left eye done last week... I am so loving it !! I can ride my motorcycle with the "cool" sunglasses now I'm going to schedule my right eye soon.. Then not as much reading glasses time ! Thank you Dr. Teplick ! You and your staff make this process very comfortable and non-scary.
Had the state of the art, brand new equipment for my surgery Wednesday. No pain and 20/15 vision for the first time in my life. Thanks to Dr Teplick and his wonderful staff. Wish I could do it again.
I had epi - lasik three years ago and it was the best thing I've ever done. I live an hour and a half from the surgery center and the screenings/tests were perfectly locally coordinated as were the medications, surgery and aftercare. An after hours question was promptly answered and my surgery type was carefully chosen for safety. Here I am 3 years later with a little better than 20/15 vision in both eyes!
