I did a lot of research and Oath Animal Hospital was the only place in my area that had zero negative reviews so I called and made an appointment for my dog, Brooklyn. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The front desk staff were nice and professional over the phone, and welcoming upon arrival to our first visit. I am so thankful to have path animal hospital take care of my rescue animals. Recently I had to bring a cat to them from an adopter who was really sick. Unfortunately she passed before I was able to have Dr. Howard see her. But I still wasn't quite sure she was gone. So the manager of the hospital said just come immediately we'll check her. Amazing experience! Dr. Howard was terrific as was all of the staff! Very caring and gentle! Luna actually fell asleep during the exam!!! So happy to have them in my neighborhood!!
Oath Animal Hospital was referred to us through our rescue for our adopted puppies spay. The facility is brand new and beautiful! Plenty of room in the waiting area too. Dr Funk was a pleasure and the whole staff was wonderful. They are very thorough with explaining the aftercare and made sure that we could contact them with any concerns. In response to Oath's response to me. I was told by your office without any discussion what was happening. Phoebe just missed a meal and I knew something was wrong. There was no need to go to emergency room. When I complained I got an appointment. While sitting there a woman with an appointment was told after sitting there a while that the doctor said she couldn't see her until at least 1:15 pm. There was no one in the office waiting. I met with Dr Funk after waiting 2 hours, my 14 yr old Havanese was having a bad cough. Dr funk examined him and stated his cough was age related and suggested eighty dollor cough suppressants. Are you kidding me? My dogs nails were trimmed and they wanted thirty bucks, when i complained to the assistant she told me Dr funk wants you to leave the office and not to return. Been going to East Meadow Animal Hospital/VCA since 1998 when I moved to North Bellmore (very close by). When Bruno, 12 y/o Bichon/Poodle mix developed bad diarrhea and was going in the house. Unfortunately we were in FL and my daughter was watching the dogs. She called panicked, and I called VCA EM. Used to be I could get a same day appt no problem. It was maybe 10 am.
