I was previously diagnosed with cervical insufficiency at 19 years old after losing twins at 20 weeks. I became pregnant with my son at 30 and repeatedly voiced my concern to Dr. Leland wanting to prevent a preterm birth with my son. She continuously ignored my concern and even said I wouldn’t compare a singleton pregnancy to twins, now as a nursing student I justified in saying that this is not true, if cervical insufficiency is not invalid due to twins or a singleton, there should have been referrals to maternal fetal medi... read more

She told me my symptoms were all in my head and said that, since I’m a therapist, I should know how to handle my own anxiety. She also pushed and IUD or implant on me when I was trying to have an open conversation about getting OFF birth control that I had been on for over 5 years. She said if I make this decision, I WILL get pregnant. I am unfortunately not even fertile and had to undergo IVF. She is the least sensitive and informed practitioner I’ve ever seen. If she was having a bad day, she didn’t need to take it out on ... read more

Nowacki and her office need to be transparent about their fees and hidden fees. Do not go there until you know for sure what you'll be charged! I was told and paid $148, but received a bill for $350. She never examined me, only talked. I called over 6 times, no-one calls back. She REFUSES to adjust the bill. Claims I was told wrong price by accident. Then why should I have to pay for their mistake?! Absolute FRAUD and SCAM. Takes advantage of people who are self pay.

Very rigid, not flexible and understanding, not thorough I would not recommend Axia Health.

Showed such a lack of compassion after my third consecutive miscarriage in a year. She seemed annoyed by my questions and dismissive of my requests. Combined with the already long wait times at he office and some other issues with poor communication amongst staff, I immediately decided to switch to a different OB office who was actually willing to listen to my concerns and go above and beyond to make me feel like we were doing everything possible and reasonable to get a “sticky” baby the next time (and we did!).

This doctor was always cold, rushed, ignored our wishes to even discuss delivery options. When my wife developed complications, she forgot critical details - my wife's anesthesia did not work because she has a bent spine, something we had made this doctor aware of, and as a result she experienced the unimaginable pain of being cut open. This traumatic birth experience has driven us to not get pregnant ever again. Telling this so that other expecting parents will avoid our fate.

I felt that she did not listen to what I wanted and spoke to me in a very condescending tone. I did not care for her bedside manner during my pelvic exam. She was also very pushy about wanting me to use an IUD or arm implant as a form of contraceptive, when I told her multiple times I only wanted to stick with oral contraceptive. I have been using the same one for years and wanted to stick to what my body was used to.

I know she has good reviews, and I don't want to assume my experience is the same for everyone. However, she felt like she was always rushed and as a result she was cold with me and my family. It seemed like she didn't like me for whatever reason, and she just wanted to get me out of the office as soon as she could. I never felt a connection with her and she was even passive aggressive with me at times which was demeaning. I would not recommend her to anyone

Rude and condescending. Not a good listener. Didn't feel she was knowledgeable .
