I came to see Dr. Ola for a bunion on my right foot. I previously had surgery on my left foot for broken bones & the bunion there was supposedly taken care of at the same time.....but actually not. I arrived at my appointment feeling quite nervous, but the doctor and staff immediately put me at ease. Their kindness and professionalism made the entire process effortless. The doctor was incredibly thorough, taking the time to carefully explain my diagnosis and answer all my questions in detail. I genuinely wish all doctors provided the same level of care. Dr. Sheik Roberts has changed the quality of life for me in a very positive way. I have had a history of pediatric care that included 3 previous podiatrists, all of which left me unsatisfied the direction of my 74 years of living was taking me. Dr. Ola and her staff have done wonders for my feet. I am a Type 1 diabetic with flat feet. I also have calluses on the ball of each foot. Dr. Ola has helped my calluses so that they do not hurt to walk. She also suggested that I get orthotic inserts with arch support for my flat feet. I have followed through with that and just got a call that the inserts and a new pair of tennis shoes have arrived. She also set up Physical Therapy for my balance and flat feet. Dr Ola and the staff were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I felt comfortable that she was knowledgeable and cared about her patients. The appointment did not feel rushed. Dr Ola explained everything is detail and offered suggestions for exercise and pain relief. I would highly recommend her!
Dr. Ola performed surgery on my foot to fix my bunion on Jan.31, 2025. Before the surgery, she fully explained the procedure and told me what to expect. Since the surgery, she has been amazing! I see her every 2 weeks and have had PT in her office a few times along the way. I now am receiving PT from a therapist she recommended, who also is wonderful. Dr. Sheik Roberts was such a breath of fresh air with my feet appointment. Her staff was so thorough in taking x-rays, getting my concerns of why I needed help with my feet, and making me feel at ease. She took time to test my circulation, talked about my feet problems and suggested many options on the way that I needed to be treated for my circulation, numbness, calluses, booking appointments for PT and follow up visits for orthotic inserts for my shoes.
