I could not ask for an overall better experience with this surgeon. Not only is he an excellent doctor, he is compassionate & caring. His communication skills and the facts that he presented put me at ease facing the decision I needed to make. So grateful the emergency room visit referred me to Him.

I would recommend Dr Tankersley to anyone in need of a hip replacement. Everything Dr Tankersley told me about the surgery came true. He carefully covered each step he would take before, during, and following surgery. The incision he left is very small compared to the task involved. I was up and walking within hours of the surgery. Dr Tankersley stayed on top of my pain management. Within two weeks of the surgery, I was walking without the aid of support. I very much appreciate Dr Tankersley and his staff. Sherrie M

Recently had a total knee replacement with hardware removal from a previous injury. From my first appointment until surgery was a matter of weeks, not months. Dr Tankersley is informative, down to earth and willing to listen and answer every question. I never felt like he was in a rush. The surgery itself went great. Top notch facility, great staff from kitchen to therapy and everything in between.

Very friendly staff and Dr. Tankersley took excellent care in explaining what was causing pain in my areas of concern. He took time to show me what the MRI & X-ray showed, explained his diagnosis and treatment plan in detail while allowing me to determine how I wished to proceed with treatment. He is an excellent listener and willing to answer any and all questions.
