I have had issues with my back for years. After a surgery on my lower back 9 yrs ago left me with a nasty staph infection, my original dr wouldn’t touch me and said no one else would either. I tried injections in my back, but was still in pain. After consulting with 2 other drs who were not very encouraging I found Dr. S. He talked to me and explained everything, and made me feel comfortable. He was optimistic that he could help. I’m still recovering, but the awful pain in my legs is gone

I had fusions and a laminectomy in Mar 2018. I had an incision problem when a small area didn't heal properly. He did a repair of that area in May and that healing went very smoothly. I have much arthritis in my spine, and so I am not totally pain free, but I can sleep pain free. I have options left to consider for further treatment. At 76, I am pleased with my surgery, and still trying to regain strength in my back. It has been slow, but steady progress. I walk 30 minutes most days.
Dr. Stevenson did my fusion in my neck explained everything on point what to expect . Would highly recommend him to anyone! His staff is so awesome as well!
