Dr.Dholakia is an expert in his field. He is amazing.
I have never found a more compassionate MD. Incredibly smart and empathetic. He put me on the right medications and I don't think I would be alive without him
Dr Dholakia has been spot on in both diagnosis and treatment for my daughters’ anxiety disorder and my bout with depression. In addition to his skill in psychiatry, his genuine warmth and caring demeanor make us feel comfortable at every visit, and his follow up for appointments, prescriptions and questions is always timely. My son was diagnosed with ADHD this summer and I was very hesitant to try medication. As the school year began and even though he was trying his best it was just very hard for him to focus in class. I have lost hope on being misdiagnosed for so many years by nurse practioners or doctors that never took the time to really understand the patient’s mind. I was recommended by my therapist to go see Dr Dholakia. I am so grateful for that. My 27yr. old son was suicidal, and was in the hospital. I found out the person he had been seeing for depression was a nurse practitioner not an actual doctor. I went online to find a psychiatrist. I viewed numerous ones until I saw Dr. Dholakia, my instincts told me he was the right one. I sincerely believe my son would not be here today without Dr. Dholakia! I think he was a godsend! My daughter had severe depression and was suicidal when we found Dr. Dholakia. She had been bouncing from medication to medication, and some were making things much worse, we were at the end of the rope. Dr. Dholakia is a Godsend - extremely knowledgeable and humble, patient and kind. He saved my daughter's life and I cannot ever thank him enough.
Before I met Dr. Dholakia, I was hardly able to leave my home because of my severe anxiety. Dr. Dholakia listened to me when I felt no one else did. In have two children with special needs. I have experience with many Psychiatrists. I have never had such a great experience with anyone until meeting Dr Dholakia! He listens and asks questions. He cares about his patients. Before him, other Drs wanted to just load my children up with drugs. Both children have unique cases which makes finding the right medications quite difficult.
