RecommendedAfter battling carpenter ants for year we opted for regular treatments from Orkin. Because we had extensive wood damage (they are similar to termites in that they love wet wood) we started with monthly treatments and then our service provider told us we could move to every other month at some point, which we did. I can’t tell you when I last saw a carpenter ant in our house and we have very few spiders and none of those creepy millipedes any more.
