On Tues. July 11 ’23, I was scheduled for an appointment at the Ottawa Derm Centre on Hunt Club and was looking forward to my initial consult. My OHIP card was requested upon arrival. I was advised that OHIP would be billed for this consult. When I questioned the Receptionist, she advised they were permitted to bill OHIP as it was a medical appointment with a referral from my Doctor.
