Of the 4 referrals I received from A Place For Mom, [name removed] was the only one who reached out, and never did I feel a “sales pitch,” from her, just genuine, excellent service. She went to bat for us, and our family, and we are oh so grateful. She helped keep within our budget, and made our transition almost effortless. I highly recommend working with [name removed]. Looking forward for Dad to start his new journey at Burlingame Senior Living!

Burlingame Senior Living seems like a great place at a great location. We are looking for a place for our mom who is exhibiting dementia behaviors. We are liked their memory care. Private rooms, daily activities, communal dining, and the ability for her to walk around freely.

I think that Burlingame Senior Living would probably an okay facility for people in the late stages of life and limited income.
I was touring for my aunt and was greeted warmly by all staff. It was clean and quiet and [name removed] explained everything very clearly. She answered all my questions easily and obviously knows her job. I felt very confident taking this information to my aunt and hope to be moving in very soon!

Staff is great. All very very friendly. Two of the nurses are so sweet too. The receptionist(s) are always so helpful. Facilities: we (his family) really like it here. Vey clean, modern and easy to park. Love the park across the street!

We toured Pacifica Senior Living Burlingame during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. The staff at this facility was welcoming. They offer physical therapy in-house. The facility is older, the elevator is older also. Their resident rooms are older and in need of upgrades (ie: heater in wall, older appliances, old lighting, old bathrooms).

The care staff at Pacifica Senior Living is very friendly - but they are considerably understaff and stretched. My dad fell a few times and was discovered in his room. They sent him to the hospital and never contacted his wife.

One of the most heartbreaking issues to face is the decline in the health of a parent so we thoroughly reviewed the events that you mention in your comments. Due to HIPPA rules (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), we are restricted from commenting regarding a current resident’s care. However, we do take the word “care” seriously and seek only to offer families the best possible support including ongoing follow-up when phone calls are not answered
We picked this community because, of the location, cost and your representative recommended it. Care staff has been good but communication to me about supplies needed and medication refills could be a little better. All in all I'm satisfied with the care my Mom is receiving.
