I finally had the same hygienist that I had 4 months ago. That is important to me because she can tell me if I'm doing better or I need to work on a special tooth. She is very good and I would like to keep her. I needed to tell the lady in the office that I had a stent put in and I am on a blood thinner. That information was quickly passed on to the hygienist. My fear of going to the dentist, especially a new dentist is pretty high. From making my appointment, to checking out today and scheduling follow ups, the admin side was fantastic! Dr Stock and Amy made me feel at ease without even knowing my fears. Amazing work, great personalities and overall a very pleasant experience!! I had a horrible experience with another dentist last year, which involved three surgeries for the same problem. I never had a problem with a dentist (I'm 51) I was terrified. TERRIFIED to ever step foot in a dentist office again. I get there, see the chair, and almost have a panic attack (I'm a calm person, I've never experienced a fear like this before). I liked Palms Dental office and the expertise of Dr. Stock but, often lamented that Mary, the dental hygienist who referred me to Dr. Stock had retired. The hygienists that had done cleanings of my teeth were all excellent but, the woman who cleaned my teeth today was superlative. She had such dexterity that at one point I thought I saw her twirling her pick between her fingers like a cheerleader twirling a baton.
