I highly recommend Dr. Kamet. He really listened to me and tried to resolve my gastro issues. He is also very responsive on the patient portal. His assistant, Venetia, is also wonderful.
Dr. Kamat is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He takes time to listen, and answers all questions thoroughly. He has helped me considerably with my ailments and I hope to continue my relationship with him.
Dr. Kamat and his PA listened to my concerns and recommended more mild treatment instead of going for the more invasive procedure, which I appreciated. I showed up to my appointment early and they saw me early. It was good.
New patients beware! Here's my story - I set up an appointment w/ Dr. Kamat due to severe abdominal pains. He took me on as a new patient, but didn't communicate he was leaving for an extended vacation. Started me on medication, which had bad side effects. Called his office to discuss and couldn't get an answer except for "He's on vacation, we don't know." After 7 days, they finally confirmed E. Coli.
