I’ve never had a worse experience than at this vets office. The men vets on staff are abrasive, rude, as well as nasty to the techs. The techs and office staff are very nice- this is not directed towards them. don’t go here if you need someone understanding who will go slow with your nervous dog- go elsewhere or risk your dog being traumatized.

Took my dog in for a routine tooth cleaning and to remove a few moles ($600+) He came out and was in torturous pain for days. Thought it was normal healing pain at first but after days of crying and not moving I had to get him checked out. Of course, it was Sunday so I had to take him to an emergency vet. He had a very painful abscess on his mole incision that had to be drained. It was all infected. Parkway didn’t give him any antibiotic during or after surgery. Another $700 that I don’t have now spent at emergency clinic. I... read more

Owner Beware!! Before yesterday I would have highly recommended this vet office. In the fall of 2020 I adopted a small breed puppy and went to them for all of her puppy shots. But, yesterday, was a nightmare I don’t want anyone else to live through! I called weeks ahead of time to make sure my puppy was scheduled for the vet that had given her all her shots as there are four different vets in the same office. I wanted the vet that knew my puppy and that my puppy knew. I was told they would update me as the surgery went along... read more

Doctor Hirsch treated my dogs and cats well but completely screwed my travel plans by telling me he would register VEHCS portal to submit my animals paper work to be certified. I saw him on a Monday. Was told he would register for the portal that evening so the documents would be submitted. Called Tuesday to follow up on the status. Was told to speak to him in person on my next visit which was Wednesday. Saw him Wednesday he gave me a whole line of Bs as to how he couldn’t get in touch with them Via the phone when all he ha... read more

I agree with the posts here about other people’s horrible experiences with Parkway Vet. Mine has to do with the multiple times I’ve brought my kitten there, each time getting a different doctor and each time being told different things were wrong with her. Last month I had to euthanize my kitten. I did not do this at this vet...and let me tell you why. My cat had F.I.P. Yes, this is rare and hard to diagnose, and yes it is not curable. But because of a lack of concern about a kitten that COULD NOT WALK, no tests were done bu... read more

Another animal that has had to be put to sleep because of your inability to diagnose a disease. Enough is enough. Retrain your doctors. I wouldn’t take my dog there for a biscuit

PSA to all pet parents - trust your gut. I knew something was wrong with Zoe. 2 months ago I took her to the vet because she was dropping weight like crazy. She got a bunch of lab work done and the results came back that she was anemic. The vet gave us an antibiotic to try and fight off whatever was causing her to be anemic. Brian and I agreed that we felt that medicine did nothing to help her. When I told the vet yesterday that I feel like it did nothing for her he replied kind of rudely saying “there’s no way it didn’t hel... read more

I took my cat Severus to the vet to get a check-up at Parkway Vet in Cape May Court House. Severus was calm inside the waiting room, he was laying in the carrier and looking at the dogs. Once we were inside the room the nurse took his weight and he was jumping off the table and acting like he usually does, a fun loving cat. Then the veterinarian came into the room and everything changed. I told the veterinarian that I thought Sev could have worms and I wanted him to be checked. The vet looked at Sev for a minute and the look... read more
