These shysters filled my soft water tank two years in a row and everything seemed fine. Then out of the blue when I called them this year they said there was a 10 bag minimum. I told them they had filled the tank the prior two years and nobody said anything about a 10 bag minimum. The guy on the phone said that probably 10 bags was needed to filled the tank. I am not happy with the plumbing work. I would suggest purchase your own softener and hiring a reliable plumber. They didn’t listen to now I wanted it setup. Left me with a leak, without a drain which was there previously from the old setup. The sales person promised it would be setup to my specs and that was a total lie. The plumber didn’t listen to me and went about the fastest configuration possible not the best. Other than that the water softener is fine and water is much better.
On time called before coming as requested
PB water is great at time of installation. Beware that if you have any issues with water softening, even during warranty period, there is $125 charge that you need to pay from your pocket just to bring technician to your door. Not worth it.

Water softening and filtration units are warrantied for service for 3 years and parts for 5 years. A service call after the warrantied period of 3 years is $125.00 + tax which covers much more than showing up at your door. The service call includes assessing and repairing the unit as needed (parts not included unless within the 5 year warranty period) and testing the water upon completion to make sure the unit is working properly.
