When we moved here I met a woman at my nail salon and she gushed about this place, so I decided to go. They are so nice and I love taking my fur babies there. I absolutely love their daily daycare for my big bloodhound, who went to it almost everyday when it was so cold outside, but we couldn't leave him in the house. We also had to take our oldest just the other day to be put to sleep and they couldn't have been more sweet about it. The staff always returns calls. I recommend them highly.
Such great vets and staff... Just picked up food today but will bring Buster in tomorrow cuz he has a mass that we've been watching that is worrisome
Paw prints was the vet for my beloved service dog Bea. Monday, I called the hospital and told them my dog was vomiting and having bloody diarrhea and I was very concerned. Lady made an appointment for next morning. I wish she warned me how serious this is. Later in the day, I made the mistake of taking my baby to asis emergency animal hospital in Greenville. Blood test showed high red blood count. My baby needed aggressive treatment and IV. The hospital closes at midnight. She had hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. (HGE). Vet told... read more
took my new puppy to Paw Prints & they did a fecal sample and said they would call me with the results. I never got a call so I assumed he was okay. It turns out he had a parasite and they just "forgot" to call. Also don't even try to call the office. you will never get an answer.
PSA: If you love your animals, do not take them to PawPrints Animal Hospital in Powdersville. My son and daughter-in-law found a kitten. They made it a vet appointment at paw prints to get it checked out and to get treatment for the cold that it had. It was sneezing and had a runny nose. When we finally got called back after about a 30 minute wait, the nurse asked why we were there. The female veterinarian there treats you like a child and assumes you know nothing about dogs. I am a senior who spent many years breeding Shih Tzu for show. I brought my elderly Chihuahua in for his annual exam. She checked his patellas explaining that this breed is apt to have problems. She commented she couldn't even make hid ho out and then a pop and she said "There it is". Ever since then my poor little guy has a patella that goes out of joint frequently
Terrible way to run a business, we been using them for our dogs and cat past few years. My dog hurt his leg, was limping real bad. We called and ask if we can bring him in. They said they were short staffed and could not see him for 2 days. I asked if I could leave him there and look at him when they could. They suggested to call another animal hospital. First I would like to point out that I cannot review any actual service for grooming or vet care. However, I would like to mention that the policy this establishment has on vaccines needed for dogs to get groomed is outlandish at best and dangerous at worst. My dogs are ages 11, 7 and almost 3 years old. I scheduled all three to be groomed and since we were new to the group they asked for medical records. This is reasonable, I agreed. I'm having a hard time determining if I should continue to have my dog seen here. Our first visit with our newly adopted dog was ok. I wasn't impressed with the examination rooms but they were clean. My dog was administered a fecal exam, de-wormer and a rabies shot and I had many questions regarding suggestions on her breed mix and ideas for keeping her calm in her kennel when we are at work.
