I love this restaurant. I try something different every time I go and they don’t disappoint. I ordered the Salmon Ceaser salad. My salmon was very rare in the center. They offered to replace it but I don’t send food back. The staff is extremely friendly and our server Kaitlyn was great
I thought it was very modern but when I want to buy a simple glass of wine I don’t want to be given a card to go to a wall to get draft wine by the ounce. I don’t ever want to pay $84 for lunch and have to go get my own drink. We had cocktails instead which were $12 and $14. Food is fresh and good. I’d stay away from the tiny desserts. Saw lots of kids as we were there at 3 Pm. There is a kids/play are in the back with corn hole and outdoor seating.
The food was unique but not great. The drinks are massively overpriced. A grey goose dirty martini cost $20. Service was slow, but expected due to a busy night. The environment was very loud, but the outside seating looked nice. Overall, not super impressed and won’t be going back.
Pros- Modern, clean, bright restaurant with very good ambience. Server was informed and attentive. Carrot and roasted potatoes side dishes were very good. Bar space and patio looked inviting. Cons- Three week wait for a lunch reservation for two. Required valet. Too much mayo and sauce on chicken salad. Husbands grilled chicken sandwich came out cold and with too much extra dressing. Summary- Nice space, but they’re dripping the “farm fresh” food in fatty and unnecessary extras.
Felt rushed by the waitress but besides that…I’ll go again
My family and I were excited to try this new restaurant, and the food truly was the highlight — great flavors and clear talent in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Several main dishes that should have been served hot arrived cooler than expected, and service was inconsistent. Our server forgot to place two separate orders and only followed up after we checked in 20–30 minutes later each time. It was also surprising for a higher‑end restaurant to require a credit ca... read more
I’ll start with the positives: the service was excellent. We had a reservation and experienced no wait time at all. The greens on the salad were incredibly fresh. Unfortunately, the cornbread croutons left much to be desired—they were chewy and had a stale texture. My husband ordered the chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. The dish was average at best; it arrived lukewarm, the potatoes were soggy, though the mushrooms were good. We both ordered dessert. I had the lemon curd with blueberries, and my husband chose the pecan p... read more
We have given two opportunities to give us tasty food. They woefully failed. Stale salad, cold potatoes, cold, dry, bland chicken. Cornbread completely stale. Deserts are tiny untasty, odd tasting items. How can you mess up pecan pie when your name is seriously “Pecan”? Not worth the time, money or effort.
We had a reservation but still waited quite a while to be seated, and once seated it took approximately 43 minutes for our food to arrive. While the food was good, it did not quite live up to the level of hype surrounding the restaurant. The flavors were more muted than expected and overall somewhat bland. That said, it is a great concept for this area, and I hope to see improvements in service and, ideally, more attention to seasoning and flavor development moving forward.
