We had a wonderful experience with our refinance for a way better rate. Saving over $60 a month and we can't be happier! I would suggest more specific closing procedures, the online closing setup stated nothing about meeting with a title company and I filled it out that we would sign at our home. A week after filling this out, a company from a town over calls me and says they are doing the closing. There just wasn't much communication of what the closing would look like. Everything was done in a timely manner.
Communication within your internal department need to improve. If people work promptly (not Paul), last minutes changes/decisions/documents could avoid. Thus relief the stress of customers. PennyMac gave us too much stress on last minute resulting confusion, anger, change of plan.. etc.. Because of this reason, I would not recommend to any of my friends -sorry.
