Beware of these vets, they are lazy and uneducated. Took my dog in for a sore on her belly. The vet wanted to send me away with nothing saying "well let's just give it a week and see how she goes" I said no and argued that the vet hadn't even checked her properly (barely looked at it). As I continued to insist she do more, she then looked a bit further and said it was just an environmental/ allergy rash to which I said I didn't agree that my dog just getting an allergy all of a sudden, that is exposed and weeping blood. RecommendedWe have been coming to Pet Doctors Tristram Street since 2013 and love the service from the friendly and caring staff. We had to make some tough calls last year with our sick dog Rocco, and we always felt supported and understood. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a vet service.
The other day, I stood at the counter for over five minutes wanting to buy $65 worth of flea and worm treatment for my cats. I was in full view of not one but three staff members who either walked through the reception or were standing in the office behind the glass window chatting. Not one single staff member acknowledged my existence or even gave a polite "be with you in a second". Had the worst experience at Tristram Street with my 4 year old cat with Chronic kidney disease. It has taken me a couple of years to actually write this but the way we were treated by the vet was diabolical and I would not return here with another pet.
The team at Pet Doctors are the best! can't recommend them enough
Vet didn't answer any questions while examining pet. Found her to be very cold and clinical. Won't go there again
We take all our pets here and they are really good, but we had a stray cat hanging around and we wanted to be good Samaritans and help out this cat that was super malnourished. We got stung with a huge bill and it's not even our cat. They should have some sort of cost plus 10% deal for concerned people just trying to help out sick and needy animals because having to pay big bucks to help stray animals will put people off trying to help. :(
