Outstanding location to board your pet. Very supportive staff. My dog was treated very well. They even sent a Flip Video via email to keep me in the loop about his care.

I've taken my dog Buster there several times. He is always excited to go and is a happy dog when he leaves. We've gotten in the habit of calling it the "puppy place". As soon as he hears that, he rushing for the door waiting for us to take him. When he gets within 2-3 miles of the place, he starts whining, because we can't get there fast enough. It had been a while for us to use this place because we had an individual who took Riley into her home who was unable to care for him for this trip most recent trip. I have several complaints the first being that he was not given his Benebone. Riley loves chewing on a Benebone which is safe and beneficial because one can't chew off any pieces and it keeps the teeth clean. I called every day to check on my dog and was told she would not come out of her room or really eat anything- which I expected because this was her first time being boarded. But I was still charged an extra $20 a day for one-on-one that was not provided. AND I was charged an extra $20 on top of the regular charge for an afternoon pick up. $236 for 3 days is a lot! Lesson learned.

I have decided to take my business elsewhere after using this facility for one year. This has nothing to do with the quality of care - but primarily because I believe that Pet Paradise as a corporation is more revenue driven than value focused. While my dog stayed at the Palm Coast location, I am sure that this applies to their network of locations. Took my Angel there for the weekend. When I went to pick her up, she was limping so badly, she could hardly walk. When I asked what happened, they said they didn't know she was limping until I was walking her out the door and didn't have a clue what had happened. I had to take her to the emergency vet, who stated it was probably a soft tissue injury and said to wait a couple of days for x-rays. Prescribed anti-inflammatory and to limit activity. We were in the area looked at reviews thought this would be a good place to leave our dogs. One of our dogs get extremely car sick so I left detailed instructions and the importance of when medication should be given. When we arrived next morning they give me her medication that they failed to give because they didn't write down in detail of what I had told them,but we did get "I'm sorry from the manger and the offer of some towels for our 10 hour trip home if she threw up."

I borded my small Schnauzer at Pet Paradise for a week. When I picked up the dog, I noticed that he seemed very timid, which is unusual for a terrier. When we had a chance to look closer at Willie, we found that he had dried crap on his rear, from sitting in his own waste. He was also just plain dirty.
