I'm a normally very patient and understanding person. However. I waited an hour and a half for an appointment I made and was on time for. When I finally got back to the room, I waited so long the lights went off twice..and I finally had to go find the Practioner on staff. I had several people who arrived after me go before me and when I asked about it, it was acknowledged I should have been next. I felt the staff minimized my concerns and I was made to feel like I was a burden. I ended up asking for a paper prescription ... read more
Always a really long wait. Even when it's just a drug test, they'll have you wait and suffer for 30-45 min after your appointment. Staff seemed disorganized and overwhelmed. Also the mobile check in thing is bullshit glitches and kicks you off the list for now reason
I've never waited so long to be seen in my life, why call it urgent care when urgent isn't any part of it.
This company has a financial incentive to provide less care. They buy contracts from employers who's preference is to pay less for workman's compensation. If you're not someone's employee, they don't care about you. If you are and have been injured on the job, they will skimp as much as possible and send you back to work before you're healed. You're not the costumer. You're the commodity. Do you self a favor and find a real doctor.
Made an "appointment" for my daughter online. Waited almost two hours in the waiting room. Turns out the "appointment" option isn't a real appointment. It just puts you on the list of all the other people walking in. If I had known this, I would've gone to First Midwest clinic. Staff was friendly but they chose not to inform me of the wait time when I walked in with my infant. Overall very dissatisfied. Would not recommend.
Business response:
Unfortunately, the wait times at an urgent care, like Physicians Immediate Care, can occasionally be unpredictable. This is because of the nature of the service being provided. The severity of each patient’s sickness or injury differs, making some encounters longer than others and also forces the medical staff to triage patients based on their medical needs if we have a trauma patient that requires immediate attention.
If I could leave a zero star review i would. went in with sinus infection symptoms. the doctor examined me, asked to do a covid and strep test that came back negative, said I had a viral infection as my ears and throat looked great and my lungs sounded perfect. Very next day(today) i wake up with severe ear pain. Go to the ER I have a severe ear infection in the outer and middle ear on the left side. I will never be going back and i will be filing a formal complaint.
Scheduling an appointment (or Reserving a Time) the day prior ("to avoid the line"), to come into the clinic to find that the appointment time is not an appointment, but more of a notice that you are coming. We came in to find that "they are running a 90 min wait time." Explained that we had an appointment, but that didn't matter, because it isn't an appointment apparently. You are entered into the same list as walk in patients when you arrive. The walk in clients were given the same wait time that was given to us. Why even ... read more
I made an appointment for my five-year-old for 1:30 PM, I had plans to get her in and get her checked for a Covid test and then drop her off at the babysitter and get to work, I checked in early, sat out in the parking lot for 45 minutes, thinking they would be able to get me in earlier. at 1:30 I went inside and ask them how much longer it was going to be, and they said probably another 15 or 20 minutes, and then when I spoke with receptionist later she told me it was because they had trauma patients in there and they took ... read more
They basically sent me to the ER, because they felt I needed more intensive care. So I did go to the ER and they did the exact thing there and filled my need for a prescription. Lots of eye rolling and head shaking from the ER staff, when I told them the Urgent care staff sent me.
