About this business
Not one detail was missed in our homey mountain cabin for a week. The mountain biking was incredible and the next-door closeness to all that beautiful nature was an unanticipated plus. When the website said next to Pisgah, they are not overstating it. Pilot Cove is literally walking distance away. We will definitely be repeat customers. I cannot wait to catch some live music next time at their amazing mountain wrapped amphitheater.

We spent three incredible nights at Pilot Cove. The accommodations were comfortable and provided everything we needed for a long stay. We enjoyed hiking the longer loop trail on site but also took advantage of the quick access to numerous waterfalls and trails in Pisgah National Forest as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. My husband and I have fallen in love with Pilot Cove! Great accommodations in an area with lots to see and do. We’ve enjoyed exploring the trails on the property, walking to the Hub and Pisgah Tavern, enjoying great food at Hawg Wild BBQ and tasting local brews at Ecusta Brewing. We spent 8 days/7 nights at Pilot Cove. Lane was very accommodating when we added one additional night. The cabin was perfect and well maintained. Everything one could need is included. The location is perfect for exploring waterfall hikes. The trails at Pilot Cove are also very nice. We’ll definitely be back.

Just perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a long weekend. Convenient to everything but you never need to leave! We walked down the hill to the coffee truck in the morning and had the most amazing coffee too! We rented #86 which was a 1 bedroom and it was plenty large enough for 4 adults on a girls’ trip. Nothing like sipping champagne in your pjs, watching the Rays in the World Series after a long day hiking!
We spent 5 days and 4 nights. Because I booked so late we had to switch cabins half way through the stay. They were very accommodating and allowed us to move things early before we headed out for the day. These would be perfect for a family as everything was set up for mud and durability. Cabin conveniently located to town and Pisgah National Forest.
