My mother has dementia and would wonder out of her home, she needed a safe place to stay that would feel like home. I was referred to Pacifica Assisted Living Facility which had many wonderful recommendations. When we arrived for the assessment my mother was quite taken with the friendly staff. I brought my father here after staying in a facility that was over crowded and expensive. It was nothing short of a answer to prayer that they had a opening for him. The price was very fair and the staff and residence were kind and caring with a homey feel to the place. I only gave 3 stars for the activities because I think there could be more thought put into this area . Boredom can set in assisted living if the resident has limited mobility and some creative ideas to nurture this area could make the time pass easyier.

When looking for a home for your loved one, we are over protective and find multiple reasons why they just won't be good enough. However when I walked into Pacifica of Pinehurst, I was pleasantly surprised to feel comfortable and confident that I was making the right decision. I was greeted with a smile and treated like a real person, a friend. The facility was clean, smelled wonderful and the residents even greeted me with a smile and they were HAPPY!
