Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Pioneer Oil. I have to tell you the truth of what happened. After a service call where a valve was dripping they sent out a tech. The next morning I went down to my studio and saw the floor flooded to about 1” +!! Called pioneer who told me to call my insurance co. Long story short, it cost me my 1k deductible. I decided to give Pioneer a shot with all of the great ratings and with the Best of Worcester award. We just bought a new house and the oil was getting low. I called to schedule a delivery and to get a quote on a new heat/hot water system. They set everything up and even had someone down the street that could deliver same day. The guy shows up, says he can’t fully inspect my tank and leaves. There’s almost no oil in my tank with a one year old in the house. Stay classy.
I have been a customer for over 30 years and was always pleased. Not so much now. I have a service contract and recently had two thermostats malfunction. I was charged for one... the service manager said it was what the contract says. I looked and looked and I can't find that provision.
Ever since they were taken over by Sail Energy they have been the worst of the worst.
We have been long-time customers and pioneer oil has been great. Always professional and responsive. Thanks Joe G for a great job installing central air
