This is really is one of the few restaurants in Provo-Orem that offers thoughtful, high-quality, unusual food options. Their menu is small, but everything is interesting and of high-quality. I'm a little worried about the service. Our individual server (Curtis?) was very good, but we sat down for a leisurely meal (multiple courses) and yet several times it felt as if the runners pushed the next course out to us too quickly. This restaurant matches world class food with moderate prices. why would anyone go and get the mediocre food being dished up at places like olive garden when for similar prices you can go to pizzeria 712? try the short rib, or the pork belly. both are unbelievably good. all their pizzas are great. I especially liked the butternut squash gorgonzola pizza. I'm visiting from Manhattan and particular about my pizza. This is good stuff. The crust is too thin in the center, but the quality is on and the toppings and ingredients are better than anything else you'll find in Provo/Orem.
Unique and superb appetizers. Pizzas like you will find no where else. And the desserts are wonderful.
Amazing food, amazing ambiance, we just missed seeing the owners there.
Pizzeria 712 is a fantastic gem. The seasonal menu is constantly changing with the freshest, local, organic ingredients, and that makes every visit a new experience. In addition to the fantastic gourmet pizza, they also offer hints of a deeper culinary experience with items like the braised short rib with polenta, which practically melts in your mouth. The owners run another restaurant named Communal which is also a favorite of mine.
Not as good as last time. Menu was not quite as I interesting and food not quite as outstanding as last time we went.
Brought a large group to celebrate my birthday and everything about the night was great. Little mix up on my reservation but they quickly accommodated our group. Tried a variety of food, including two appetizers that were recommended, and all were good. Think I'll come back for that gnocchi when I don't have to share. Pizza was yummy...although crust on some was a little dark for my taste. Best of all was the peach cobbler. So good! Several in group had never been there but I think they became converts!
Make a reservation this restaurant has a limited number of seats. The food is amazing and it's better to go with what is in season then what is familiar. The waitstaff is amazing and really now their stuff talk to them and they will tell you what things are. Even the items that sound a little strange has a familiar taste to them. It's simple comfort food but made with the best ingredients that make them seem decadent. Don't get the speck pizza try something different.
