Avoid this place at all costs. Our 16 year old silky terrier got out of our backyard and was gone for less than an hour when someone found him and took him to this vet. He is microchipped so when we received a call that he was found (within an hour) my husband immediately rushed to pick him up. Imagine his surprise when he is basically held hostage by the vet telling him he owes $100 for an unauthorized exam. The vet was practically IN our car not letting him shut the car door. Originally took my animals (a dog and a cat) to Plantation Animal Hospital for yearly visits. I feel like they put on a show for me the first visit and made it seem like my animals were of the highest priority. The prices were high but I hoped it was due to the high quality of the care. I was wrong. I had to bring my dog in because he was ill and they didn't listen to my concerns and provided medication they thought was best.
