After the first month, it seems to be doing the job. However, if any large debris gets in it after the landscapers blow stuff into the pool, it gets jammed.

Recently replaced our Zodiac MX-8 pool vacuum after 8 years with a new Polaris Atlas XT model. So far operating as expected -hoping to get many years of use with this unit. Set up and operation very easy.

My experience is that ATLAS XT is the BEST Pool Vacuum cleaner I have had in 25 yrs!! I have a Pebble Tech Pool and My old Vac was getting stuck on the drain cover and moving slow,The ATLAS XT is not getting stuck,I believe cause it has 2 cleaning suctions ...It moves around effectively and U can see the Pool is cleaner.I run it daily as I am in South Florida. GREAT Product! My Pinch a Penny Store did a great job in helping me understand my latest and greatest Pool Vacuum.Very Happy and its definitely worth the investment!
