Polaris MAXX Suction Pool Cleaner
Much better product than my previous cleaner. Does an excellent job in cleaning the pool, I'm very happy with my purchase.
My old cleaner was not doing the job after 4 years of service. I switched to the Polaris MAXX suction pool cleaner and now my pool looks like new. It even climbs the walls! I’m very pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend the Polaris MAXX to anyone.
The Maxx works very well. It also needs the leaf filer to be a great package. Since mine did not come with one and the special hose couplings don't allow me to use my nearly new leaf filer that I can also use skimmer socks in, I have to constantly clean the rough basket filer just ahead of the pump. I really hope that when I get the specially matched Polaris leaf canister, that there is a way to use filter (skimmer basket) socks to catch all the grit and pollen debris.
Great cleaner with lots of power. Cleans the bottom thoroughly and unbelievably climbs the walls to clean vertically and horizontally. I'd point to two issues: if climbing the walls is desired it requires more RPMs than the bottom vacuum I was using before. More suction does not fix this requirement. Minimum 3000 RPM needed. And two, the side suction adapter that came in the box dies not work well. It kept popping off the pool side suction inlet
The Polaris Maxx is the best pool cleaner I have ever had. I have told people that it has changed my life, well I spend a fraction of the time working on my pool. My pool is huge, over 3000sf, this is the only cleaner that can keep it clean. It doesn't get stuck like every other cleaner and it can run 24/7 if you want. I've had the pressure polaris, creepy crawler and cordless robots, nothing compares to the Maxx.
I really like the way this cleaner works. It seems to not get stuck on the larger debris keeps the pool floor looking sharp. I find that it does require slightly more suction than my last cleaner to keep it moving at the correct speed
Great product cleans the bottom well, wished it clean the sides of the pool better.
Worls great! Pool has never looked so good!
