Polaris MAXX Suction Pool Cleaner
This cleaner really does make a huge difference in how clean the pool surface is.is does more than my other suction cleaner ever did. It actually climbs the walls but never to the point that it takes air. Well worth the money!

It really does the job!
Works really well, once you dial in the right pump flow. Too much, and it practically jumps out of the pool, going above water line, too little and it slows to a crawl. This replaced a octopus-style cleaner that got stuck constantly. This one actually gets around the pool. Still a bit of tendency to stay in deep end, but can generally rely on it. I realize it will need two sweepers and treads over time - but that's understandable, there's a lot of wear on these parts as they scrape across the pool surface.
Works well but misses a few spots after it in the pool for 5 hours.

Having had the Pentair and the Hayward cleaners the Polaris knocks it out of the park. Much better quality that you can see in the unit but also the hose is excellent and locking rings to secure the connections. Does an excellent job climbing the walls and sand does not render the unit useless unlike the Pentair and Hayward units do. Pricing is on par with similar units, but the quality is far superior!
