awesome cleaner!! Works great!!
Perfect for what I needed. The unit is great. My wife and I named it R2 (as in R2-D2) because of the algorithm it uses to move around the pool and the spinning that it does. I did have some operator errors at first. But a simple telephone call to Zodiac and Nick was wonderful in explaining where my problem was. I am a new in-ground pool owner. So with Nick's help, R2 is a happy "aquadroid." I recommend reading the description and see if this Zodiac unit would work for you and if yes... Get it!
Doesn't get stuck I tried a couple of other cleaners but they got suck on our extra tall bottom drains, which are up against the deep-end wall. This one doesn't. Also much less expensive. Makes me wonder why other, simpler cleaners cost so much. It won't climb our very slippery fiberglass walls but they don't get dirty so I don't care. Too bad it it spends so much time trying but all the other cleaners do too. Looks like this one will work for us.
Zodiac MX6 pool cleaner The MX6 works great. Had a MX8 for 4 or 5 years, and it needs a complete overhaul $$$ I got the MX6 for under $200. can't go wrong at that price.

Has done pretty well so far Although I used a pool rake to get the majority of the leaves out of the pool at the beginning of the season, there were a fair number of leaves that needed to be clean out. The MX6 had issues where it kept getting stuck because the internal turbine would get stopped up by a couple of leaves. I did not have this problem with our old Hayward PoolVac.
