Ironically our booster pump died the day after replacing the Polaris pool vacuum. This one is very quiet and seems to work very well. Only reason for 4 and not 5 is the price! $$$$$. I give it 5$ though.

Pump is quiet and easy to install ( for a non-installer). Slightly higher horsepower rating than the old Polaris booster but doesn't seem to effect anything.

The pump was easily installed (by a professional pool guy) and has performed flawlessly. It was a replacement for a 5-year-old Polaris that got fried somehow. I expect it to perform as well as the old one.
