Polaris SCOUT 42iQ
Over all ease of use and cleaning is great. Doesn’t clean all corners. When driving with remote wifi it doesn’t vacuum and it should. Why does vacuuming stop while taking to area not cleaned? Cable sometimes doesn’t untwist while in pool. Overall cleans great on one cycle. Wifi features ok but worth the difference. Cart is a big plus for easy use. Glad I purchased let see how it hold up over time.

Exceptional cleaner with zero issues so far. Cleans pool to the tee and brushes to make a smooth wall and bottom. Money well spent. I would highlight recommend.

This machine really cleans excellent , it picks up so much stuff that I can't see in my pool. I previously had the mx8 and never picked up as much debris as the scout.

provided a option to have the Wifi + no-stand. saved +$100 and got a top of the line robot. PS love it. my Mtx failed and i changted horses. it is better than the equiv in that other line

The Polaris Scout42iq has an electrical cord that tangles almost every time it cleans the pool. It’s extremely difficult to untangle the cord, and online recommendations say to pull the entire cleaner and cord out, straighten the cord (good luck) and let the sun warm the cord to help the cord ‘unlearn’ the tangled memory. It has become such a burden to use it, and if the Scout is on a cleaning program throughout the week and we are not home, it basically wastes electricity and continues to tangle more.
