I visited this facility We have chosen Pomeroy Living Sterling Assisted Living & Memory Care. They have a studio apartment, and it's really nice. Most of the places that we toured were just one room, and this actually has a bedroom, a front room, and a kitchenette. And that's the only place I found where they had a little kitchenette with a refrigerator. It's like a living unit instead of just one room. Plus, there's a TV, and that's what we like. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Mom is in the memory care unit. It is fantastic. The staff gives each person individual care and attention that they need. There are constant activities to keep them occupied. She was at a different facility and kept asking me to take her home. It broke my heart. Here at Pomeroy sterling hts she no longer asks to go home. They are so compassionate and management is always available to address any concerns I may have. I highly recommend it! I visited this facility I had an in-person tour of Pomeroy Living Sterling Assisted Living and Memory Care. The lady who gave me the tour was amazing. She gave me so much information about everything. The facility was clean, beautiful, and decorated nicely. Most of the rooms had a little kitchenette and a bathroom. It was like a little apartment, which I liked. They had a workout room, a physical therapy room, a dining room, a library, and a TV room. It was very clean. I visited this facility Oakmont Sterling Assisted was nice, clean, and nicely furnished. The people seemed to be enjoying the food and there were lots of activities. They have a calendar of events, a game room, and movies. The grounds were nice. It was in a good location. It's close to grocery shopping, the drugstore, and the bank.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Wonderful, caring staff. Always clean. Good consummation. And recommend without reservations. Very good verity of programs with musicians, bingo, exercise etc. A good nursing staff to provide medications and monitor medical conditions.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom has been living here for 18 months. Since arriving she has met many residents. She has even met some old school mates... from the 1940's ! The facility is well kept..and seems to give residents a feeling of belonging.

Other Oakmont Sterling Assisted is the best place in the area that offers assisted living and memory care. The building is extremely clean and well decorated. They have a wonderful activity team that keep the residents engaged. The nurse manager is caring, patient, and goes the extra mile to ensure needs are met. The care staff overall is good. The care staff could be a little more attentive at times instead of being on their cell phones.

I visited this facility I was very impressed by Oakmont Assisted in Sterling Heights. It is much brighter and attractive than any facility I've visited, which makes visiting much easier than other 'drab' facilities. The activities look very impressive; they even offer a cooking group. My mom is a fabulous cook, so she was very excited to see this. I really like the lay-out of the rooms, too. I visited this facility The facility is very nice, clean, some rooms are carpeted, some are hardwood floors, the resident has their pick of which they prefer. They bring the people from upstairs to participate in activities down stairs. I felt very welcomed when I first moved in and the staff was very friendly and made sure i was settling in nicely and needed anything.
