I cannot thank Poway Animal Hospital enough. They saved my dog’s life. My male Cavalier King Charles (Charlie) suffered heat stroke just last week and he was extremely close to death when we arrived at the clinic. The vets and the entire staff went into immediate full life-saving emergency procedures and pulled off a minor miracle. Over 30 years ago a friend recommended Poway Animal Hospital. (Sadly, she had to put her dog to sleep and her experience was nothing more than support and comfort from the staff.) Fast forward … we have had 3 small dogs over the last 30 years under the care of the doctors at “PAH”. We moved out of Poway but continued to drive into Poway for the quality care given here. I called a local vet earlier this month when one of my cats fell seriously ill. The receptionist stated that they were fully booked and could not see my kitty. I've never had that happen before - I've used that vet for 17 years! They take Great care of there patients. You can tell the Vets and staff love there job.
They care for a patient rather than just do their job. We recently had to bring our girl Kia to the Rainbow Bridge. Their professionalism yet compassion made a difficult decision easier. We know that Kia ( and our love for her) mattered to them. Everybody knew what had happened, even when we brought our Kona in the next week, everybody acknowledged our feelings. Their compassion made our loss bearable. THANK YOU PAH!!!
Dr. Teague has taken care of my 4 legged babies since 1985. Dr. Teague knows that all my babies were like children to me and has alway taken wonderful care of them. Dr. Teague and Dr. Smith have done several of their surgeries over the years and always explains everything I needed to know to make the right decisions on the surgeries. Right now they are taking wonderful care of my 3 dogs Bella, Molly, and Sadie. I would not go any where else for my veterinary care.
The most compassionate and caring team of doctors and staff who have been there for us thru every stage of all our dogs over the past 25 years. We feel so blessed to have this wonderful group to count on for our beloved pets❤️
The vet & staff were just excellent! We had a very rough situation with our 17 year old GSP and didn't have a appointment. They were able to see her and although our worst fears were confirmed and we had to put her to sleep, the Vet and techs were all very understanding and compassionate. We couldn't have asked for better service.
