Happily Surprised! I was ready to find another all show and no go upscale fashionable restaurant, however, not the case. Firstly the place is beautiful. Somewhat minimalist décor yet very warm. I love to see the kitchen and this one is very nice. The menu has some very pricey items and some reasonable tapas small plates. We went with about 5 small plates and shared. The food was delicious and it ACTUALLY IS different. Great ingredients not often seen locally, great flavor. Service was great.
We went on a Saturday night. We had reservations for 6:30 and got right in. Our server Emma was awesome and explained the menu and even let us sample drinks. We ordered a couple small plates which were both delicious and split the carnitas as an entree. The food and the drinks were outstanding and we will definitely make a return trip.
Fantastic! Could not believe that we were dining in Crown Point Indiana. So pleased to have a nice restaurant close to home. We would usually have to go to Chicago for this quality of food. I would compare their cuisine with Rick Bayless’ Frontera Grill.
Wine was delicious. Great selections of reds. However, ribs were not falling of the bone. They were tough and undercooked. Carnitas were great. But they should defiantly offer more Salas and sauces. Flavors of the meats are bland. Service is amazing.
We were running late for our reservation and called to let them know. They were very understanding and accommodating. Thank you so much! The food was outstanding!!
