Celebrated anniversary #41 at Provision. The experience was top-notch. The host sat us on the outside patio upstairs - perfect. The ambiance was the right mix of comfortably business casual and low key. They surprised us with a glass of bubbly, totally unexpected. I've never been disappointed by the superb food and service at this Cunningham establishment. I will only register that upon arriving, I was denied the hightop seating that had been confirmed in my online reservation. I was told that there would be an hour wait, so I reluctantly agreed to be seated at an inside table. But within minutes, the manager very kindly managed to get us seated outside, allowing the evening to be as splendid as I had initially anticipated.

My short rib dumpling appetizer with sweet chili sauce and shiitake mushrooms was a prize by itself. That was followed by a perfectly cooked and seasoned medium steak that I paired with a side of roasted tomato & mushrooms in truffle oil. It was a grand meal that exceeded our expectations.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday and were excited to try something new in Indy. The ambiance and food was spectacular. However the service left a lot to be desired. We felt rushed and the server did not engage us or demonstrate any real sense of hospitality. My hubby, who is a server at a 5 star restaurant calls the service that received as “order taking”. It put a damper on the evening.
