We were very disappointed in our Provision experience. The service was ok, but definitely not what I would expect for a restaurant at this price point. The food was good (a couple people loved their meals, a couple people thought they were ok), but the lighting was so poor, it detracted from our entire experience. I understand low lighting for ambiance, but this was extreme. Even my 23 year old son felt like he was eating in the dark. Provision is lovely and the service outstanding. Have enjoyed this restaurant a few times -- and this one, for devour indy -- my group was with folks that not been to Provision before. As always, the Devour menus are limited and sometimes the servings a touch smaller -- but still outstanding. The Grow salad is different and excellent. Lamb meatballs were OUTSTANDING. Overall our service was outstanding. However we did have a little hiccup, I ordered a medium rare steak and I was brought something more along the lines of well done. Our server didn't come back to check on us immediately, but a bit later saw that my steak was much more well done then I had ordered and put in a request to have it remade. Went for Devour. They have a great menu and the food was great, as was the wine list. A very enjoyable experience.
