I saw someone else with this and then I bought it. I saw a Siemans control technician with one of these at a place where he needed to do A LOT of work and I needed it. He had a cool toy, I wanted that cool toy too. It is very simple to use and it makes good labels. The thing that makes this a little different is when you plug the USB in to your computer and turn it on it mounts a drive. That drive contains the P-touch software that makes your labels. Quality Brother label printer PC interface allows precise design of custom lables.
Works well - no power cable included!?!?!?! Great printer, but who makes a printer and doesn't even include a power cable? Crazy. The brother-brand power cord for this is priced crazy, so I bought something else -- then I realized it's wired backwards from most stuff, so I had to buy a polarity-reversal adapter cord as well. Four Stars Instructions on use are awful.
Less waste than most others It works as expected. The one thing better than expectation is this one's cutting location is quite close to output, meaning there's quite fewer waste due to leading space for cutting. Perfect!
