Great for the Price The labeler is easy to use and the labels are easy to read. When you figure out all the different fonts and symbol keys, you can print them all different ways. I especially like that you can also print a label with two lines of text.

super easy to use i have used other label makers that had complicated instructions to make the fancier designs on labels. this one is super simple. super easy to use. and you can preview the label before you print it and waste a label. installing the label paper was very easy also.

It doesn't come with an AC adapter Most of the time when you buy gadgets power supplies are included. Buy the AC adapter, or have 6 AAA batteries ready if you want to use it out of the box. That and I think the tape cartridges are a bit pricey, otherwise I'd 5 star it.

Amazing for the price This is a great labeler that gets the job done for a very low price. i have used this labeler a decent amount and have not run into any issues with it. it has a lot of extra features that i will never use but they are not in the way of the features that i do use. overall it is defiantly worth the price even if you will not use it that often, it is a handy product to have laying around the house.

A nice inexpensive labeler for home projects and workroom... Brother PTD200 Advice: I would try to select "chain" printing whenever possible to save on TZe tape consumption, otherwise you waste a lot of tape advancing a single label to the cut-off knife. You then cut the 'chained' labels apart with scissors. After each chained label you have to press the ESCape key (vs OK to advance) to elect not to advance the tape to the cut-off knife, but that's not too annoying. I also preferred to use the auto-length feature, otherwise ... read more

An excellent labeler which goes throuight batteries at an alarming rate. Basically the title tells it all. This requires 9 AAA batteries and flashes a warning that is something like "low battery charge" after a very short time. I bought a labeler that runs on AC current and tossed this one.

smooth pros: prints nicely looks nice easy to type fits in top desk drawer neatly has auto shut off pretty easy to peel off backing applies smoothly and durably to folders and other reasonable surfaces does 2 lines pretty well very reasonable price - other labelers this price are clunkier to use and type on cons: uses batteries quickly (even with auto shut off) uses 6 AAA batteries; 4 AA or even 2 C batteries would work and would be more convenient, but would make body thicker and less likely to fit in drawer uses way too mu... read more

Effective for label creation, including long-lasting ones! Good device, decent enough design. The biggest problem is, the label tape doesn't last very long and is expensive to replace, compared to other label printers. This device offers plenty of printing options, including designs, fonts, and tape/font colors. Be aware: you may need to change the margin setting between labels to avoid wasted label tape! Also, an investment in the optional AC wall adapter would be good, as this device will consume battery power fairly quick... read more

Quiet satified An effective labeler for the price, was shipped quickly and easy to get started with my next project. Handy for most small jobs or second labeler.
