Well worth it. I have been wanting this model for a long time, just based on the size of the keyboard and display. I have been using a P-touch Home & Hobby III which is less than half the size (horizontally) of this model, but worst of all, that model doesn't use tape with the split backing and it takes forever picking at the edges of the tape to pry up the backing. Easy to use Good, versatile label maker. Like all of these items, there is waste.
Amazing and worth the cost I was hesitant to purchase this and for what we wanted, we felt there was not many options when it came to use, cost and options. We have owned other Brother devices that last 13-15 years and it was time to get a new one. We LOVE this! A one inch tape with 40 font size An easy to use label maker with the ability to make 1 in wide labels in 40 font for "easy to read from a distance" bins and drawers. I can read my tool chest and roll cabinet drawers from across the garage. This label maker does much more than I will ever use, but it makes the easiest to read labels I've had to date. Works very well This label maker does an excellent job of printing labels. Used some of the other commenter's postings to minimize the wasted tape. Recommend that you spend a little bit more and use the Brother cartridges - I have yet to have ANY jam.
Easy to Use I'm happy I splurged on a nicer labelmaker. I love all the tape options and the ease of how you can set up printing from your computer or phone.

Great product I purchased this to make high-contrast large-print labels to assist with my vision impairment. Unfortunately, the computer interface is almost impossible for me to see (no dark mode). But I can see the keyboard well-enough to print simple labels, using a video-magnifier to enlarge the keyboard. The process is simple, with few steps. Does not jam. Prints easy-to-read 1 inch labels
