SAWHNEY A Raleigh native, Dr. Anita Sawhney became interested in dentistry as a teenager, when she received orthodontic treatment at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Dentistry. Since then, dentistry has proven to be a fairly perfect profession for Dr. Sawhney. “I like taking care of people, improving their smiles and their confidence, and taking them out of discomfort and pain,” Dr. Sawhney explains.

Another great visit to Dr Kashyap’s office. Dr Kashyap takes his time and explains all your options. He is not one to rush to do a procedure, just to get it done. I really trust him as a Dentist. Michelle, the hygienist, did a great job on my cleaning. She was super friendly and explained everything. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Tech very good with use of tools and knowledgeable. Dr. K took time to explain in detail what needed to be done and why.
Came in for a cleaning and some work - left with my work done in a timely manner and no pain! Staff and doctor K were great! Will be back!
Got an excellent cleaning today. Mentioned pain in my tooth. Hygienist took X-ray. Dr Kashyap came in and examined my cleaning and X-ray. He said I have a fractured tooth and it needed to be extracted. Yikes! I’m 78. I do not like the sound of that. Dr K talked with me about 20 minutes regarding my options and treatment. He was amazing, kind, extremely patient and explained everything I needed to know. I go back to him in a few weeks to follow up. I was taken in and the dental hygienist explained what she was going to do and Dr. Kashyap had told her what to look for and clean my teeth. She did exactly what I was told and she was also happy that I was following the instructions Doctor had given me before.
I hate dental pain! Dr Kashyap and his staff are amazing! Even the shots for numbing were painless. Great people, great care.
That's right. I walked into my appointment, not excited about having a filling done at my gum line, and there is a beach with ocean waves crashing on the rocks on the screen in front of me. My visits over the years have always been on time and everyone goes beyond making you comfortable and work done is excellent.
The entire Team does a great job and they have the best technology available.
