I experienced a significant mental health crisis and if it wasn’t for Dr. Surya, I’m not confident on where I would be today. He is exceptionally professional, yet welcoming and empathetic. He gives you his full attention and makes time for you. He went over and beyond to help me get my life back and I will always be grateful.
Dr. Surya is a very kind and empathetic doctor who tries to help his patients with the cutting edge technology, yet extremely conservative way. He listens and explains the mechanics of treatment, when asked, without condescension or unfamiliar medical terms. He’s an extremely knowledgeable and intelligent physician who treats his patients with kindness and respect. My wife, daughter and I like him very much.
Dr Surya is a fabulous doctor!! He uses medicine conservatively. He is a very good listener and problem solver and I have never felt rushed in over 5 years. His office staff is so sweet and efficient.
He's the best psychiatrist.
Dr. Surya is very personable and compassionate. He never rushes me out of his office. He reviews everything from all of your doctors to be sure that your psychiatric treatment blends with other health issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Surya to my friends & family.
Dr. Surya is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He was my psychiatrist at inpatient at Westpark Springs hospital, and after my experiences with him there, I switched to him as my outpatient psychiatrist. He listens carefully, and works to find the best solutions for your ailment. I have Bipolar I with psychosis and we have worked together over the two years I have been seeing him to keep me stable. His office staff is exceptional. Keanan Beirle, his PA, is great too!
I like this guy! My wife was seeing some one else when we met Dr. Surya in the hallway. He even walked with us outside as we were leaving talking to us. Well, my wife is a stickler for her doctors and we were both impressed so we set up an appointment for her to get some issues with her medications cleared up. He also offered another test to help identify the best medications to use. Dr. Surya is very interested in you as a person as well as a patient. He comes highly recommended from both of us
Dr. Surya is so warm and welcoming. He is very caring, and asks questions that let me know he is interested, and wants to know why i am feeling a certain way. Very easy going and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone who really needs someone that will treat your symptoms and talk to you about your feelings and thoughts. The front staff is amazing, and goes hands over heels for their patients needs!
Dr. Surya is fine. His reviews and our experience of being patient and caring are accurate. He now works for MindPath, which is not acceptable. He used to take Medicare which is what other review sites say he still accepts. Our bill was $329 for a single visit. His organization accepted $122.74 in the past for the same service. Phone calls to resolve the difference were not successful. Mindpath is unacceptable and so is Dr. Surya if that is where he chooses to work.
