Been my family doctor for close to 3 years now. The first time I spoke with her it felt like I was wrapped in a warm blanket. She is caring, understanding, and takes the time to understand and make you feel heard. Best doc I've ever had and she is an absolutely wonderful person.
She is by far the best Dr I have ever had. She’s smart, helpful and really advocates for her patience. Great listener, too.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rebecca since she started at VFH. Compassionate and thorough- I never feel rushed or like my concerns aren’t valid. She has never hesitated to refer to a specialist when issues come up. Her approach to care from a mental health perspective is what sets her apart from other physicians I’ve had. She is genuine in her concern and I appreciate her so much.
Dr. Hicks is a progressive, caring GP who listens to patients. Her language and rapport are refreshing in the medical field especially.

I've had doctors in London England, Vancouver and now Toronto and have never come across a physician as good as Dr. Rebecca Hicks. Such a caring and compassionate Doctor that is highly knowledgable and takes the time to listen to you and find the right solution.
Literally the nicest human being. I've had horrible period pains my whole life and I felt like she has been the only doctor to listen to my symptoms. She immediately is referring me to an endometriosis specialist and ordered ultrasounds right away.
I feel so incredibly lucky to have Dr. Hicks as my MD. She is HUMAN. A rare trait you find in the medical world. I hate anything health related and prior to Dr. Hicks, would never go see a doctor. Now I feel comfortable enough to make appointments and put my health first. Dr. Hicks if you’re reading this, thank you. Dr. Hick's is one of the most respectful, hilarious and generous MDs I've ever met. She's dodged MD culture and is a person who is a delight. I feel very lucky to have found her. She's changed my feeling of comfort and safety accessing health care.
