This hospital is a nightmare! My daughter was admitted twice. The first time she came out worse! The second time I was assured they had changed and that she would receive the care and therapy she needed. She did not. She sat around watching movies and only went to group therapies that did not pertain to her. They didn’t administer her prescribed meds. But gave her an OTC med without talking to me first. Receptionist or whoever answering the phone needs to find another job. Hospital would not tell you any information about the patient. Do not care about family or a guardian of the patient. I asked if they can give me why they were hospitalized and they said they feel uncomfortable telling me even though I have all the consent from patient. I think this is a mental hospital that hires mentally challenged staffs.
I have been in the Army, I have been in jail, and I have hung around biker bars and never have I been so stressed as I was during my stay at the esteemed Red River Hospital in beautiful downtown Wichita Falls. It truly is a joy to be strip searched, incarcerated, deprived of all human rights, and be “cared for” by Harvey Martin, a “doctor” who looks like Mr. Burns from The Simpson’s TV show and treats his patients the way Montgomery Burns treats his employees, having them ingest toxic drugs that destroy their brains. 5 stars... read more
