We come to this neighborhood, steak-and-cocktails place frequently. Tonight was just dry gin martinis and jumbo shrimp cocktail. Heaven. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient as always.
Our go to restaurant for warm, friendly welcoming start to always reliable food and drink.
We chose this place before a Broadway show for the convenient location but now it is on my list to come back to. The staff here from the front to the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was so nice, classy. Big open space with high ceilings. There was an excellent piano musician with a beautiful voice. Food was very good and came out quickly. The French dip yummy and very filling. The sushi was delicious per my husband.
A classic Manhattan eatery always terrific food and an amazing service. You can never go wrong at the red eye grill 
Everything was excellent! Seating was easy, the staff excellent, food & drinks were great. Well prepared during rainy days, we were dining outside(happy hour) and the weather was anticipated, so they moved us inside without any problems at all. Staff is very courteous and kind. Dessert was fantastic (banana pie)! We love it here!!
Superb service and delicious food and drink! The entertainer at the piano was outstanding…we definitely will be back!
The food, drinks and service were terrific. It’s been several years since our last visit. Everything is still top notch. Looking forward to returning soon.
I was greeted with a much-needed glass of water, which was wonderful. I was also seated in a comfortable chair, as I requested, so that was wonderful too. It was after I was the waiter who knocked two stars off this rating. I ordered a glass of white wine, which was cool, but not cold. I tried to catch the waiter's eye to ask for some ice, but he'd moved to another table. When I finally got him I asked for ice and a general idea of the size of their beet salad. It was a great experience from the service, ambience and food … and we especially loved the bar area and loungy feel along with the musical artist playing the piano and singing! It was such a lovely touch and end to our day, taking our grandson who was visiting from Santa Fe NM to experience the Big Apple !!!!
