Good option before Carnegie Hall - excellent food, service a little slow but we had plenty of time with a 6pm reservation. There was a live piano player/ singer in the bar - was nice since we were not directly in the bar, but nearby.

We had an excellent dinner. Service was top notch.
This is my third visit and my first in 22 years. And everything was as excellent as I remembered. Food was great. But what is the #1 sign of a superior restaurant? The answer to every question a customer has is "Yes". We will be back; hopefully sooner than 22 years between visits!
Fabulous steak frites .. cooked perfectly! Salmon and Caesar salad was fantastic!
My waiter was delightful. Dancing shrimp were fun, branzino was very tasty!

Gorgeous outdoor seating, delicious crab cake spinach eggs Benedict and bottomless mimosas. A NYC institution still delivers.
