Dr. T and her team are amazing. Appointments can be late but I never felt rushed and I truly felt cared for. After an absolutely horrible experience at Northwestern for our first IVF round, Dr. T ensured she carefully assessed the previous experience and data. My husband and I have a very challenging scenario and only had 1 viable embryo after 3 IVF rounds at RMI and Dr. T got me pregnant! She gets straight to the point and tells it like it is. One of the things I love about her.
Elena, is the second IVF doctor I have gone to, and I had a great experience there. I would definitely recommend her. Also, her office staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. All aspects of my treatment were explained fully to me and everything went smooth.
Dr. Trukhacheva is personable and has a good bedside manner, which makes the road to achieving pregnancy smooth & comfortable. Her many years of experience in this field are reflected through her knowledge & expertise. You will never get anything less than a completely honest & professional opinion about your situation and you can trust that you are in the best hands possible. I am so grateful to my ob/gyn for recommending her and my experience under her care has been pleasant and enjoyable.
She dropped me mid-cycle because I had too many questions. Their staff drew blood and conducted medical procedures that were not needed and tested blood for parameters not required, in addition to numerous billing errors by their office. When I tried to stand up for myself, I was immediately dropped mid-cycle and called a "rude and mean person" as I was crying on the phone. Turns out I got pregnant under her care and it was ectopic, requiring surgery. I would not recommend her or her office to anyone for anything. She does n... read more
Dr. T was my second fertility doctor. Before her I had two unsuccessful IVF circles with FCI. With Dr. T I spend 6 months to find and treat my problem and got pregnant with first try. Good luck to everyone!
My experience with her is that her words cannot be trusted. She gave me unrealistically optimistic confident prognosis for success and two babies with my 22 39 year old frozen eggs. Before that I had done my own research on the internet and what I found out is that there is no guarantee for any success and the chances of two babies are very low. Dr. T turned out completely wrong and the internet turned out to be correct. She discounted everything I told her I found on the internet as incorrect and argued she was right becaus... read more
She has good bedside manner and is knowledgeable. I did five cycles with her; when we got one viable embryo and it didn't work out; she didn't even call ...to say anything. i got a one line email in the portal. Perhaps a message about how sorry she was after so much work would have been appropriate after spending SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY...? Just seems obvious. Then, when I went back to do a check point locally since I found a doctor with a money back guarantee that actually cares about his patients, they wanted to charge me a... read more
4 IVF rounds with nothing to show for it. If you have good insurance, stay away - they will milk you for all you’re worth. We just went in circles with barely any changes in protocols. Almost $25K in insurance and $5K out of pocket, with zero viable embryo. It’s an IVF farm. I only saw Dr. Trukhacheva once in between cycles. The nurses are rude, office is always full of patients they want to get in and out within minutes. Go somewhere where they’ll treat you like a person, not a bank.
Most one sided relationship with a specialist ever. Only positive is her office/lab staff. Wish I could give Dr. T zero stars
