Dr. Carl has been our pediatric dentist since the mid to late 80's when our first child was seen by him. We were recommended to Dr. Carl by a Coworker because I had expressed frustration over our then current dentist. The switch to Dr. Carl was one of the best decisions ever. best dentist ever for my 2 boys. i wont take them anywhere but to dr. maestrello anymore. i trust him and so do my kids. on top of that the waiting room is so kid friendly!!!!!!

I took my son (4) and daughter (2) to their Mechanicsville location for the first time this morning. I was amazed at how wonderful they were with my kids. Mallory cleaned my son's teeth and Kristy cleaned my daughter's. They were so patient and kind--they made sure they were completely comfortable. Every time they picked up little nervous cues from my kids, they would stop and try to comfort them or make them laugh. Dr. Liz was also just as amazing. I can't say enough about the dental team here! My 7 year old daughter had a bad experience at another dentist office and was very scared to go to the dentist. Dr. Amanda has been very patient and understanding even after handling a very upset child. My daughter has now bonded with her and I have very high hopes of nothing but positive behavior from my girl from this point forward. Thank you thank you so very much for your patience and wonderful attitude in helping my family. Both my boys 4 and 5 years old loved it too.
